Description:
This is a pre-war model 94 Winchester chambered for the 30-30 round. The condition of this 80+ year old carbine is nearly unbelievable, indicating that it had a life of little use and great care, The blue would rate 90%, or better, and the walnut stocks would rate the same. All the finishes are factory original, showing minimal wear, with a little blue loss on the left side of the barrel band. The 95% bright blue is much better then my pictures depict. The bore is bright with strong rifling that appers near mint. This carbine has a period Lyman tang sight installed in the factory holes. The wood fits proud to the butt plate and other metal surfaces. Action works smooth as designed. I do not have the original front sight hood, but they are available online. $1700.00 Shipped and insured to current FFL holder of your choice in the lower 48 states, and available as a C&R item to a current holder.
