Description:
This S&W 1st Model appears to have been fired very little, it retains a clean, bright bore with bright cylinders. There is no carbon or flash buildup to the cylinder face or recoil shield.
The nickel finish around the barrel has tarnished, with a spattered patchy area which is smooth to the touch, and not rusted oxidation.
The metal surfaces retain about 95% original bright nickel finish, with a small flake missing at the grip butt.
The hammer retains much of the original color case-hardened finish. The spur trigger has turned a soft patina with blue hues.
All metal markings are correct and crisp, all the numbered parts are serialized to the frame.
The factory diamond checkered hard rubber grips rate excellent. The inside right panel is factory numbered to the revolver.
Actions timing and ejection works perfectly and the cylinder locks-up tight. This revolver is very solid.

Modern firearms must be transferred through a licensed FFL dealer in your area. A C&R license is acceptable for C&R firearms only (guns determined to be C&R eligible by ATF and/or guns known to be at least 50 years old).
New York Residents: Handguns cannot be shipped directly to a C&R holder in the State of New York and must be transferred through your local dealer.
Antique firearms require the buyer to supply proof of age. Some areas may require an FFL transfer for antique & black powder firearms (New Jersey, NYC, etc.)
