RIFLE, 36 cal., 26” oct. bbls. marked “W&C Ogden, Oswego, NY”, DST, engraved back action locks, serpentine shaped hammers, screw in tang peep sight open rear sight with elevator, pinhead globed front sight, checkered straight grip stock with cheek rest, engraved nickel plated crescent buttplate, engraved spur trigger guard, rest of iron furniture also engraved, 2 wooden ramrods on each side of bbls., TD pin runs up & down through the receiver holding bbl. in place, engraved nickel plated patchbox on right side of stock, exc. wood & bores, metal parts have 99% nickel finish, 85% blue on bbls. rest starting to turn brown, Walter Ogden was in business in Oswego NY 1849-1870. $6750
