It has beautiful 30” Oxford 4 J.S. Damascus barrels with excellent bores choked full & cylender. The action retains 80% original case colors. Made in 1898 (SN110920), it qualifies as an antique. Stock dimensions are LOP over the original monogramed butt plate is 14 ¼”, DC – 1 ¾”, & DH – 2 5/8”.  The stock is solid without breaks or cracks and has good unmessed-with checkering.  It shows the usual nicks and scratches. As a “B” grade gun it sports some very nice engraving.  Any grade Remington 1894 above an “A” grade is hard to find.
