Custom 270 Winchester Stocked by Monte Kennedy when he worked for Apex Rifle Company. Apex barrel, 22" long, fitted to a commercial FN action and chambered in 270 Winchester. Bore is excellent. Apex had a process to machine the front receiver ring on the sides to match the action side wall, leaving the top like a square bridge. Bolt shroud replaced with what looks to be Gentry with 3 position safety. Stocked by Kennedy in French Walnut, 13 3/4" LOP over a solid rubber pad. Kennedy's flawless point pattern chackering. Ebony forend tip and pistol grip cap. Redfield one piece base and rings, Leupold M8 4x scope with duplex reticle. Weight 8 lbs 3 oz. $2125 OBO.
