H, Peiper "The Marksman" Single shot The rifle is of falling block design and the action is tight and functions well. The barrel is full length octagonal, 26" long with a fair bore, one standing rear buckhorn type sight and a silver front sight with what looks to be a hallmark. I am unsure of the caliber. It is in the .30 caliber range and is a fairly straight case according to the cerrosafe cast. It could be a couple different calibers, so I will stay with unknown and price the rifle accordingly. The stocks are both above average with nice chequering and finish. The buttstock has a 1/4" Length of pull to a neat Pieper buttplate shown in the picture and marked "The Marksman". 7lbs 1oz 0603661 MSSS $950.00
