Payment Types Accepted: US Postal Mondey Order, Certified Bank Check Description: For sale is a vintage Rudolph Noske Scope from the 1930's. It is in excellent condtion. The sopce measures 10 3/4" with the Objective Adjustment set out where it is pictured. The tube is in excellent conditon in terms of the bluing. The Objective Eyepiece does have some marks. See the pictures. The scope is truly outstanding with the bluing just wonderful, and I have a photo for you to see the wonderful reticle on the scope. These are just about impossible to find in this condition. This is the "Deluxe" version of the Noske scope line. If you carefully read through all the vintage Nose catalogs, you will see that this style was individually hand fitted and put together. The scope features a Tapered Post Reticle with Horozontal Crosshairs. The glass is very clear. The scope is marked "R. Noske, 31919, U.S., PAT. PEND. This, in my humble opinion, is a very, very early Noske scope. Later Noske scopes were marked with the name of the particular model. This socpe simply has the number and the Pat. Pending designation. This scope would be correct for any 1930's gun that had 7/8" Rings and a Mount, whether it be a G&H, Sedgley, Owen, Hoffman, or any other Vintage Sporter. It is sin about as nice of condtion as you could find. I believe that you could simply touch up the bluing on the eyepiece, but I would leave that up to the prosepctive buyer to decide if they wished to do that. It is completely oiginal "As-Is." However, sometimes originality is very important, and I do think that with a little Birchway Casey Super Blue and oil, you would be able to make the scope even better. But, because of the originality factor, I never did anything to the scope. It looks pretty good as it is. With the right vintage rifle, it would look like it had been on there since "Day One." The scope is as clear as can be. My friend takes the pictures for me, and he has an excellent phone camera. The problem sometimes is that it is "Too excellent." The camera has 3 lenses, and it is very difficult to get it at short distances, as when we tried to get the picture of the clarity of the scope. But, make no mistake about it, the scope is very, very clear. I would say "Crystal Clear" for a scope of this age. Shipping and insurance are extra. Call or email if you have any questions.
