Here is an antique Stevens Hunters Pet made into a custom .22 target pistol,with a 12 inch new lined barrel. Also rust reblued barrel with some fancy turnings,and frame made nice and shiney;also wood grips are redone. The action is nice and tight and mechanical on the money. The right sights ( partridge ? ) need to be found for this pistol and mounted. I would also find a pair of old large grips that could be adapted to this piece. As I believe it would make a great target pistol,and feel that the heft and balance are better than the Lord model.Someone put some serious money into this,and it will not take so much to complete. Even though this is considered an antique,there are some Cities and States where I cannot sell.
