Description:
With an early serial #2264, and a 50 Caliber, 21” octagon barrel with a bright excellent bore. This close copy of the White Mountain Carbine made for Fox Ridge Outfitters by Thompson Center Custom shop is rare and not seen very often.And it retains 98%of bright, deep blueing finish with a few spots of oxidation around the nipple showing excellent case-hardening with “Fox Ridge Outfitters” marked on the top flat. The walnut stock rates excellent with a few tiny handling marks that required diligent inspection to find. The toe of the rubber buttpad has a slight deformation from vertical storage. This rifle features fiber optic adjustable sights, wooden ramrod and appears to have seen very minimal use . These are a smaller form than the Renegade ot Hawken and would require a lighter powder load to be used when fiting, with an overall length of about 38 1/2" long. When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
