"Serial number 81. Made circa 1837-1838. 40 caliber with a 27" barrel. This gun is in excellent condition as period refinished. The Metal is nice and sharp and all of the cylinder scene remains. The finish is factory quality and is of the period. This gun has a very nice stock with the 4 horse logo on the left hand side. All numbers match. 1st Model rifles are very rare with only a handful in private hands. This is a very attractive gun worth of any collection!
