Dakota Model 76 Safari .300 Dakota with special serial number “NRA-COL-M05”. Features include a ramped front sight with folding night bead, island express rear sight, barrel band sling swivel stud, drop box magazine for extra capacity, Dakota scalloped two-piece bases, ebony forend tip, wrap-around forearm checking, cheekpiece with shadow line and a 1-inch recoil pad. The NRA logo appears in gold on the steel pistol grip cap. Barrel is 22.5 inches long, length-of-pull is 13.6 inches and weight is 8.4 pounds. The bore is bright and shiny. Overall condition is about 99%, with only slight evidence of handling wear and minor areas of blotches showing on the rust blue. No box or papers. The price is firm and a layaway program is available. Trades for fine sporting rifles (particularly customs, rimfires and dangerous game calibers) and handguns will be respectfully considered. $4,500 plus shipping.
