Dakota Model 76 .300 Weatherby Magnum with several special order appointments. Serial 0029-1 has a 23-inch sporter barrel with banded sling swivel stud, three-panel teardrop checkered bolt knob and a drop box magazine with inside-the-bow release button. The AAA-grade claro walnut stock features rioting fiddleback and is highlighted with an ebony forend tip, 24 lines-per-inch borderless wrap checkering, twin crossbolts with ebony caps, skeleton grip cap, scalloped cheekpiece with shadow line, initial oval on the toe line (engraved “WS”), inletted Howell-type sling swivel stud, Pachmayr Decelerator recoil pad and full-length glass bedding. DIMENSIONS: Weight (including Talley bases) is 7.8 pounds. Length-of-pull is 13.65 inches. MOUNTS: A set of EAW Quick-Loc pivot mounts (30mm low) is also included but not imaged. One of the base attach screws is absent. CONDITION: The bore is exceptionally bright. Metal finish is approximately 97 percent, with trace indications of use and one small freckle just forward of the stud band. Wood is approximately 95 percent owing to rack impressions on either side of the action. The price is firm and layaway is available. Trades for fine sporting rifles (particularly customs, rimfires and dangerous game calibers) and handguns will be respectfully considered. $5,500 plus shipping.
