Description:
This is a rare 6 m/m Velo Dog Revolver that were used in the late 1800's for bicycle riders to deal wit problem dogs. It is a 5 shot double action revolver with a folding trigger and for added safety it has a safety on the rear of the frame. The bore is lightly pitted and is 1.5 inched long. There is no makers name on the gun and the serial number is 46. The only markings are CAL 6m/m and the Belgium proofs. The grips are of some black material and very finely checkered. This caliber was also known as the 5.5 Velo Dog. A very rare and unusual piece,
