Winchester Model 1907 Takedown Rifle
  • .351 S.L. Caliber
  • 20" barrel
  • Bore is bright and shiny
  • Fully engraved receiver with grape leaf pattern, buck, scroll and purported to be engraved by William Gough who was a master engraver for Winchester, Colt, and other manufacturers at the turn of the century
  • Engraved 5rd drop free magazine
  • Stock in nice condition and the stock itself has been fully engraved with both deep relief grape leaf, stag, and family crest with lighter engraving (stock has a split repair at the wrist)
  • Proper Winchester butt plate
  • Internals are in very nice condition
  • Made in 1907 (First Year Production)
  • First semi-auto rifle made for production by Winchester
  • Plunger charging handle is below barrel at end of forend
  • Semi-auto action known as the "Self Loader" was ahead of its time when these pre war models came out
