"Excellent Henry Deringer Peanut M.W. Galt Retailer Marked. .40 Caliber with a 1 ½" barrel, 5" overall length. Barrel has excellent original finish with all of the original brown striping. Furniture is all nicely engraved. Breech has two silver bands. Wood is excellent and checkering is sharp. Top of the barrel is marked “Made For/M.W. Galt & Brother/Washington D.C.". This is a seldom seen retailer of Henry Deringer. Condition is excellent.
