Smith & Wesson Safety Hammerless Fourth Model 38 S&W 4” Barrel, Manufactured in Springfield, MA from 1898 to 1909, on top of the barrel is a two line address and on the si de of the barrel is 38 S & W OTG, about 50% Gold left on gun. Comes with two piece pearl grips with S&W medallion in good condition, mechanically is in good condition with tight cylinder lockup in double-action. Bore is good with light pitting. The gun was shipped on April 5, 1902 to A. Baldwin Co. in New Orleans, Louisiana it left the Factory with a 4 inch barrel, gold finish, and special ordered pearl grips.
