Description:
Winchester Model 42 factory Skeet. This 42 was made in 1937 with 26” solid rib barrel, choked SKEET. It has Winchester Skeet wood with checkered straight grip stock and checkered extension forearm. The LOP is 14 ¼” over an added Pachmayr ½” rifle pad and installed so there is no down pitch.
I believe that this gun was professionally restored many years ago. Except for some spots of wear on the magazine extension the bluing is excellent plus. A coat of finish was added to the wood but it still presents as a very nice 42 Skeet.
