Description:
This is an 1886/15 bayonet for the French 8 mm Lebel rifle (and others) issued during WW1.
In excellent shape with a "cruciform" blade, and brass hilt.
No bends or alterations in the original 520 mm (about 20 3/8") length.
The only markings are 2 small circles on the scabbord with a "P" in one, and "J" in the other.
There is also a "P" at the base of the blade.
