Description:
ARGENTINE REMINGTON ROLLING BLOCK SADDLE RING CARBINE, in ORIGINAL REMINGTON FACTORY WHITE FINISH; model 1866-71; 11 mm MANNLICHER; in correct military configuration. This is a GENUINE ORIGINAL SRC and NOT a cut down rifle!! THIS SRC IS THE ONLY Carbine I HAVE EVER SEEN AS AN ARGENTINE SRC 43 Spanish converted to 11 mm Mannlicher; however I have seen a couple of Argentine Remington Rolling Blocks RIFLES 43 Spanish converted to 11mm Mann. The SRC displayed has stamped on the top of it's knoxform "11MM MANN" meaning that it has been rechambered to accept the 11mm Mannlicher (Werndl) cartridge. Approximately 300 RIFLES ( there is no amount of SRC recorded being rechambered; this is the only one I have seen) were rechambered in the late 1950's as at that time large quantities of 11mm Mannlicher ammo were being imported and shooting quantities of .43 Spanish ammo were scarce.

ANTIQUE, NO FFL NEED IT, Ships directly to your home.

From my personal collection: Condition: A UNIQUE antique example of the ARGENTINE Remington Rolling Block SRC; REMINGTON US MADE with the "11 MANN" marking. This handsome carbine has the Original Remington factory in the white finish. It has a well define "11 mm MAN" on top of the barrel between the receiver and the rear sight, and a well marked three line Remington address on the receiver tang. Metal finish is bright with a very nice even pleasing patina mixed with scattered aging spots, light discoloration, with usual handling marks/scratches. The action has a scattered tiny freckles. Original military sights in place. Buttplate is in nice shape with even patina with normal handing marks/scratches. Original Saddle Ring is in place. To the naked eye, for a 150 years old black powder rifle, the bore is average with good rifling, gray with frosting. The stock has a beautiful wood grain; appearing original finish; rich darker brown with imperfections, normal handling marks, scratches, small nicks, dings, dents, bruises and narrow hairlines on the back of the tang. The action appears in fine working condition, extractor is in place, hammer half and full cock appears to work as it should, as well as pulling the trigger in dry fire. Book pictures for reference only.

This ARGENTINE REMINGTON Rolling Block baby Cavalry Carbine is UNIQUE with the "11 MAN" marking in ORIGINAL Remington factory white finish!. GREAT and ULTRA RARE OPPORTUNITY, A MUST HAVE!; it will make a great addition to your collection!.
