SOLD....Pistol has NO IMPORT MARKS; ALL MATCHING NUMBERS INCLUDING THE MAGAZINE, showing "SIST. COLT CAL. 11.25mm MOD. 1927 is documented in Alex Gherovici's book. Coming from my personal collection; this is a very HARD TO UPGRADE SUPERB example of this variant believed to have been made for local Police, non goverment agencies, commercial sales and export. DGFM FMAP Sistema 1927, .45 ACP 5" barrel. It was made with SAE 1045/1050 steel on Colt machinery under Colt license and supervision under contract in Rosario, Argentina. It was manufactured in 1951.
Condition: This example is in "like new" excellent condition. Extremely nice and very clean. it has MATCHING NUMBERS on FRAME, SLIDE, BARREL and MAGAZINE! It has well defined markings. The finish appears to be Original dark blue with very slight discoloration, fading-silvering-edge wear minimal loss on high edges and contact points, might have very few light tiny scattered imperfections, scratches-handling marks. Original sights. To the naked eye, the bore is "Like new", excellent with very strong rifling, mirror bright and shiny. Action appears mechanically in fine working order. Original, Correct and MATCHING numbered Argentine magazine with little edge wear, light few scratches-handling marks. Magazine fits well, drops freely and it looks in good working condition. ORIGINAL and correct Argentine marked grips are black checkered in great shape. Grips have NO cracks, NO chips, just minor tiny flattering points, light handling marks, scratches if any, and a tiny flattering bruise on top on the right panel. NO import marked. An extremely rare find in this excellent "like new" condition Sistema Colt 1927 with MATCHING NUMBERS including the MAGAZINE; NO IMPORT MARKED. This one will make one of the best additions to your collection! Very hard to upgrade!
