Description:
Ruger Mark I, semi-automatic, .22LR pistol with a 5½-inch bull barrel, checkered wood grips with Ruger silver & black medallion on the right grip panel, an adjustable rear sight (windage and elevation), and a fixed front sight.  The overall length of the gun is about 9 ¾ inches; the total height, including sights, is 5 ¾”.  The total weight (with an unloaded magazine) is 2 pounds, 10.7 ounces.  The gun comes with an aftermarket brown vinyl case, and one (total) original Ruger 9-round magazine.   The trigger is equipped with a clamp -n trigger shoe to make the trigger wider; it is easily removed.  There are no box, papers, or other accessories.  According to the online Ruger Standard and Mark 1 pistol serial number listing, this gun was manufactured in 1975.

The overall condition of the gun is 99- percent.  There is a ¾ x 1/16-inch holster rub on the right side of the muzzle, a tiny amount on the left side, right at the muzzle (I presume this is holster rub) and a 1/3 x 1/32“ rub on the top, right side of the front sight.  There is also a 1/3 x ¼ inch scratched area on the right side and read of the receiver housing.  It has a trace amount of rust, really small.  The rest of the metal surfaces are nearly perfect.  The checkered wood grip panels are perfect; the checking is deep and crips, with no wear, mars, or other damage.  The bore is clean, bright, and shiny.

The photos are high resolution, so zoom to see details.  Contact me for additional photos of any area you would like to see or see better.

The buyer pays $25 for USPS Priority Mail and $11.50 per the USPS insurance schedule.  Thus, the total purchase price, postage, and insurance is $486.50

The fastest way to get this gun is to pay with a USPS (U.S. Postal Service) money order, as it is like cash, and I don’t have to wait for them to clear.  However, I will accept a personal check, another type money order, but I will hold the gun until it clears my bank; that includes bank checks and cashier’s checks.  Check or money order must be made payable to Jerry Pownall or Barboursville Arms.
