Description:
An rare and authentic Trade Dagger made by I&H Sorby of England...circa 1820...sold in the U.S. by Hudson Bay and traders of the time in Canada also. The name is stamped into the blade in the center. Ash handle was decorated by Indians, the brass tacks are arranged either the Lakota or the Cheyenne...probably the Lakota Sioux or Northern Cheyenne. The brass guard was forged welding to the blade!  The I&H Sorby stamp was stamped in after forging the blade when it was still hot. This Dagger is in excellent condition, original tip with a perfect edge with patina...very sharp! A very rare Indian Trade Dagger in all original condition...came out of a Virginia collection! Anyone interested should please call me!
