Description:
Savage Model 1899 F saddle ring carbine in 303 Savage caliber. The rifle features a 20 1/8th inch barrel stamped with the two-line legend on top ahead of the Marble receiver tang peep sight, followed by “SAVAGE HI-PRESSURE STEEL” over the top of “303.” The receiver has a cartridge counter and saddle ring on the left side. The rifle features a straight stock with matching slight Schnabel tipped forend. The condition is exceptionally fine with the barrel and receiver retaining 90% of the original bluing. The lever retains 90% of the original case colors. The wood is very good with minor cosmetic dings. Serial # 157146. Manufactured 1914. FFL required.
