The Patriot’s slide is embellished with engravings synonymous with the United States, which are applied by the world-famous master engravers of Bottega Giovanelli in Italy. Flawless aesthetics aside, the Patriot is fully equipped with a wide array of upgrades intended to optimize performance and durability. The barrel, slide, frame, and magazine base-plate are given a special Tenifer nitride treatment for outstanding hardness and excellent corrosion resistance. These parts are then polished to perfection to provide a sleek, metallic finish. To ensure exceptional accuracy and steadfast function, the Patriot is equipped with Walther’s exclusive Dynamik Performance Trigger. This flat-faced, dynamic match trigger breaks clean at 5.5lbs, and offers minimal take-up, trigger stop, and trigger reset. The Patriot’s enhancements also extend to its grip, which has been specially designed to provide extraordinary in-the-palm ergonomics, and to make the weapon feel like an extension of the shooter’s hand. The grip is precision machined from a solid block of aircraft grade aluminum, and the magazine base plate is milled from a block of high-quality steel, which results in a homogenous, balanced structure. To deliver superior control over the handgun, the Patriot’s grip features 20 lines per inch checkering, with additional texturing on the front and rear straps.
