SN: 257025. Vintage Remington Model 11 shotgun with Cutts compensator. ""W P"" date code indicates this shotgun was made in August of 1923. Metal finish has worn to a brown and gray patina with only a few patches of scale or pitting, which have been cleaned. The receiver has some scratches from take-down and assembly, plus one deep scratch below the lip of the receiver on the left (between the two rear screws.) Wood has lost much of its finish and the fore-end has some knicks in it. The stock has a small crack in the grip section on the right side which may need to be repaired if it is to be fired frequently. Action is solid, and bore is mostly bright with scattered frosting.
