BRITISH EAST INDIA GOVERNMENT (EIG) PATTERN 1858 PERCUSSION .56 CAL. SINGLE SHOT CAVALRY PISTOL DATED 1867. British Indian Cavalry issue in the post Great Mutiny era. All original and complete with excellent markings. 14” o/a with 7 ½” smoothbore barrel with Royal Ordnance proofs at the left breech. Circular Ordnance cartouche on stock side panel. Lock plate stamped “CROWN(VICTORIA)/E.I.G.” and “1867/BIRMINGHAM”. Excellent attic untouched condition with original dark patina. Stock with the original finish. Perfect working order and good bore that will clean even better.
