Mitchell arms yugo m90 preban import with certificate of authenticity and original bipod. The M90‚‚s were rifles caught in a bonded warehouse in 1989 when the Bush I executive order banning importation of \"non sporting assault rifles\" came down. Mitchell replaced the pistol grip and on the folders, put the stock in the folded position and then installed a really cheesy tan plastic thumb hole stock. They removed the night sights, shaved the wings off the bayonet lug, and fixed the spring detent pin so you couldn‚‚t remove the muzzle brake. Mitchell then electropenciled \"AK-47\" or \"RPK\" out and added \"M90\" to the receiver as the model number, as AK-47 and RPK were banned by name.
Back in 1990/91/92, there was nothing saying you couldn‚‚t buy the rifle and return it to original configuration. Springfield Armory was also caught with a lot of weapons in warehouses that weren‚‚t importable, and did similar modifications. Mitchell put the original stocks in the box when they sold the rifle to you, and Springfield sold \"accurizing kits\" that included the flash suppressors, pistol grips, and butt stocks for the G3‚‚s and FAL‚‚s that they brought in.
