"The Berkshire" model, made by Meriden Firearms Co. is one of very few American- made sidelock shotguns.
This is a 12 gauge with Full & Modified choked 30" GREAT barrels ! Another gun from the corner in my Gunroom,
like the J. Stevens Arms Co., this is another "project gun" which I will never have the time to get to.
Although heavy ( 7lb. --11 Oz.) , but tight as new, this gun would also be ideal in the blind or boat---perfect for Waterfowl and Turkey.
There is a lot of condition remaining on this old, but solid gun; Stock is PG Capped, 14-3/4" over Hawkins Pad, 1-1/2" DAC & 2-3/4" DAH.
