We have here a FRENCH POLICMAN , Model " Le Francais" Semi Auto Pistol manufactured circa 1922 at SAINT -ETIENNE, in French State of LOIRE === This Little 7 shot pistol features a TIP UP BARREL, ( Later copied by BERETTA ) == The overall condition is rated at 95% with minor scuffing , action is strong and positive , factory pure , Bore bright with deep rifling == All lettering Legible and clean == Grips are Black Checkered Plastic with "MF" Logo == Thumb piece on Right side controls the barrel action == After the first shot each successive shot is fed from the magazine , making the gun single actioin === Most of these pre Worlld War 2 guns were seized during the occupation of the Country by the Nazi's and now are a scarcity , very rare , especially in this 95% condition === We do not test fire or certify any item, recommend a check by a Skilled Tradesman prior to any use.
