Description:
With a serial #14-13-064833-02, at .50 Caliber, with a 40” octagon barrel with a bright very good bore. The metal surfaces of this attractive Spanish made flintlock rate excellent showing no silvering on the barrel flats with a few minor spots of discoloration on the frizzen and spring. The Roman Nose European hardwood stock also rates excellent displaying well executed geometric brass inlays along the forend with three endearing heart inlays around the wrist. This is a full stock not two peice! The brass furniture is starting to tone to a goldenrod patina showing a bit of oxidation on the interior of the patch box cover. The rifle features a functional if somewhat stiff working double set trigger, 1:66 patched roundball twist rate and is sighted with adjustable u-notch rear and brass blade front sight. A modern manufactured rifle with a very traditional 18TH century appearance, by Traditions Mfg.Appears to have been used spareingly if at all , arms length looks like new!
