Description:
This exquisite .410 was specifically made for Luciano Bosis himself. The exibition wood was personally chosen by Mr. Bosis from his private inventory. It was engraved by Pietro Parravicini and personalized under the forearm with 'Inciso da Piero per l'amico Luciano'; 'Engraved by Piero for my friend Luciano'. I visited Luciano in Brescia, Italy, at his shop in 2014 and was fortunate enough to purchase the gun (new and unfired) from Luciano himself. The gun is in like new condition and has seen extremely little use. Everything about the gun is high quality including the hand made Italian leather case. I have included a few exterior photos as the interior lighting is not great and I am not a professional photographer. Extremely well balanced and a joy to shoot. There is really not much to say other than this gun turns heads no matter where you show up with it. The wood has spectacular grain which is accentuated by the hand rubbed finish. Every thing about this shotgun is 'Old World', artisan craftsmanship. When you see these artisans create these masterpieces first hand, you truly can appreciate the dying art that lives in these small local but world renowned shops.
I hesitate to say 'one of a kind' but I have never seen another one like it.
