We have in on consignment another fine high condition Smith model 27-2. This gun sport s the most popular 5 inch barrel. as you can see it's Factory nickel in It's original wooden display box with paper work and the tools. box is in nice shape. Gun appears to be test fired only.. the top inside has been redone as the plastic never held up. This gun also appears to have had no one inside of it as you can see no curled top of sideplate, and no idiot rings around screws.this nickel finish is 99% with NO bubbles nor holster wear.. all in all one of the cleanest smith nickel guns we have offered.usually a nickel gun has some bubbling and or peeling that is this old. serial number places this gun at 1975 or very early 1976. A very nice 47 year old smith looking for a collector/investment. The owner had a special pair of book end matched [Smith says " FANCY"] grips on the gun.YES it is pinned snd recessed..
these guns are hard to find in unmolested condition. as the same with the blue 27 offered in another ad. More pics of your choice to serious inquiries.The model 27 is the Cadilac of Smith wesson...
