Winchester Model of 1917 WWI issued in 1917.
This Winchester rifle is a Model 1917 chambered in .30-06 Springfield. The serial number (11569) dates the firearm to 1917. This firearm is in great shape with the expected amount of wear and tear for a piece of this age. It comes with an attached period leather military sling. Winchester 1917 30-06 Springfield 1918 original Winchester barrel. Barrel marked with the number 7/17, W and Flaming Bomb near the front sight. Flaming Bomb and Eagle on left side of reciever. Stock has cartouche near left reciever on the stock.
This original stock has light handling dings and scuff marks.
