Description:
Jack Haugh custom built flintlock Bi-Centennial rifle #34, 50 caliber with matching Tom White powder horn numbered to the rifle.
These are very rare and collectable flintlock rifles.  This one is number 34 made by Jack Haugh for the Pennsylvania Commerative Bi-Centennial commission - 1976.
Originally 200 of these rifles were to be made by Jack Haugh and John Bivens (100 each) but all 200 were not made.  The highest number I know of is #54.
Jack Haugh made those with an even number and John Bivens made those with an odd number.
This one also has a matching numbered powder horn made by Tom White.   Mr. White was to make a powder horn for each rifle but many have been seperated.
Both the rifle and powder horn are new and unused.
One of these rifles recently sold at for $20,000.
The Smithsonian collection has one of these rifles.
