A beautiful Sterling Silver Ladle, engraved in 1889 and presented by J.P.H. Crismond (Confederate 36th Virginia Cavalry) Crismond was wounded at Woodstock, VA. In October 9, 1864...when he healed up he joined the 9th Virginia Cavalry to the end of the war. This ladle was given by him as a 1st prize in a scripture puzzle. The ladle measures 10 inches long.
