EXCEPTIONAL INDIAN WARS SPRINGFIELD U.S. MODEL 1884 TRAPDOOR .45-70 CAL. RIFLE. All original with no later model parts and just as issued from the Springfield Armory with very nearly all the original blue and color case hardening. Has all the original finish on the stock and a mint “SWP/1888” cartouche. Super mint bore and perfect working order. Even has nearly all the bright original blue on the butt plate. Stock with a few minor storage dings and has seen very little if any field use. Extra nice example.
