FINE CIVIL WAR STARR PERCUSSION CAVALRY CARBINE. Ebenezer Starr patent manufactured in Yonkers, N. Y. for the Union with most used in the west by Arkansas and Kansas and Missouri Vols. Excellent and 100% original with 21” rifled .54 cal. barrel Brass mounts and sling ring on left side. Federal Ordnance cartouches on left wrist. Barrel with faint blue mixed with plum patina. Lock marked “STARR ARMS CO. YONKERS, N.Y.” Stock and forend with the original finish. Really nice for one of these which saw war service from the early part of the war. Working order and excellent bore with good rifling.
