EXCEPTIONAL CIVIL WAR P.S. JUSTICE TYPE 3 BRASS MOUNTED PERCUSSION .69 CAL. RIFLED MUSKET. All original superb condition with much of the original plum brown finish on lock and barrel. 39”round .69 cal. barrel with near mint rifling. Lock and barrel signed “P.S. JUSTICE/PHILADA”. Has all the original stock finish and mellow brass mounts. Justice contracted with Pennsylvania early in the war and supplied 2174 rifled muskets which were used by the Pennsylvania 88th and 95th Volunteer Regiments both of which were at Gettysburg with these rifled muskets. Best one of these rare rifled muskets we have seen and very historic.
