Description:
This gun is in Excellent Condition throughout, having only approximately 500 rds. fired through it. The SIG 516 is one of the best, most reliable and accurate AR15 variants available on the market today. This is due in large part to the short-stroke piston drive system used in these guns...a huge improvement in accuracy and dependability over the standard AR15's direct gas impingement system. The SIG 516's semi-automatic piston system lowers harmful harmonics transfered to the barrel, thereby increasing accuracy, while also keeping the chamber free of residual gasses and fouling, keeping the gun cooler, cleaner and more reliable over extended shooting scenarios. The piston drive system has an adjustable gas block enabling different pressures to accomodate specific bullet weights and/or suppressor use. This gun is factory finished in a Flat Dark Earth Cerakote, complimented by the 6-position adjustable MagPul ACS buttstock and MagPul pistol grip, both also finished in FDE. The gun comes with the factory provided free-floating M1913 aluminum picatinny rail handguard and SIG flip-up iron sights (BUIS). The gun has a 16" SIG Mil Spec barrel, with a Bravo Company Battle Comp 1.0 compensator replacing the standard A2 birdcage flash hider. The Battle Comp 1.0 compensator is much more effective in mitigating recoil and impulse and almost completely eliminates muzzle rise/flip. In addition, this carbine comes with a Leupold Tactical Illuminated 1.5-5X scope, specifically tuned for 62gr. 5.56mm ammunition. The scope is mounted on a JP Precision one piece aluminum scope mount. The gun will ship with one 30rd. magazine in it's original SIG box.
