"French Model 1822 Converted Musket Liege Marked Metal is a dark gray patina. Long range rear sight is missing. Barrel is 42½" in length. Only marking on lock plate is a crown over “MG". Stock is good with minor dings and dents, has a beautiful circular date stamp on the butt stock dated “1834". Many of these European muskets were used by both sides during the Civil War.
