This Winchester M70 Cal 30-06 was mfg abt 1945 and for those of you looking for a true classsic this one might qualify. It doesn't have any stock flaking, cracks or dings. about 80 - 90 %
It appears all original & obviously Very Good condition, by NRA Standards w/typical very light handling marks.
Also the bluing is VG to Excellent (abt 95%).with only some muzzle edge wear. There is a very small spot on the R-side of the barrel near the muzzle.
The bore measures 1/2 or almost "0" (See Pic) . The receiver is also VG w/slight edge wear around the chamber,the Trigger Guard & drop plate are the same. This M70 have had excellent care & it's condition, to me is rare among these M70's for this period. The action is normal. The bolt is numbered to the firearm.
It is set off w/a (Like New) Leupold Scope - Vari X 3.5 x 10 w/very clear glass & reticles,
