SCHEMANN PERCUSSION TURNERBUND RIFLE, 45 cal., 31” oct. bbl., Civil War Sniper Rifle, made for the German American Turnerband of the late 1850’s which went into the service during the Civil War as entire units, marked on bbl. & lock plate “TH Schemann Cin. O.”, weighs 14 lbs., Turnerbund bayonet stud on left side of bbl., DST, very unusual flip up long range rear sight for different ranges, sling swivels, 95% of original browning on bbl., exc. wood, unusual steel ramrod, exc. bore, Schemann was in business from 1855-1896. $3250
