*** SALE PENDING *** ON LAYAWAY *** The rarest of them all, when it comes to the Savage Model 99C deluxe clip magazine rifles, is this "Collector grade" made in 1999 (serial # F826311) in the 300 Savage caliber with 22" barrel, cut checkered Monte Carlo pistol grip stock with Savage medallion in the grip cap from David Royal's personal collection. The regular production 99C was never cataloged as being offered in the 300 Savage caliber, but a few were built in 1999. See information on this 99C on pages 111 and 115 of David Royal's Collector's Guide to the Savage 99 rifle and his rifle is pictured on page 107, figure 7-30. Many collectors, I would assume, do not even know about the 300 in the 99C and most have never seen one come up for sale, until now! This highly sought after and very desirable Savage remains in unfired near mint condition. If you have been waiting for one of the hen's teeth of the Savage 99 line, the wait is over.
