29 3/4" Heavy Fluted Barrel 1.248" dia at the muzzle.
Canjar Single Single-Set Trigger, (the safety has been disabled).
15lbs 4oz scoped.
13 1/2" LOP
Walnut Target Stock.
Action was Mfg. in 1951
Leupold 12X riflescope with a fine target dot reticle, elevation target knob and sunshade. Mounts are Redfield Universal 1 piece base and high rings with front extension ring.
Wood is in very good condition with scratches, dings and dents.
Metal is in very good to excellent condition, with scratches, rubs and handling marks. The rifle started life as a .22 Hornet and the action has been slightly modified to accept the .222, it doesn't feed from the magazine and has been used as a single shot. The magazine box is missing and it looks like a standard follower has been modified to allow it to feed as a single shot, The bolt is numbered to the gun.
Bore is excellent.
Scope is in excellent condition and may have minor handling or ring marks.
I don't have any information on who built the rifle or what brand of barrel was used.
