NSN, made in 1889, .58 caliber, 30.5"" octagonal to round smooth bore barrel. Barrel and other iron parts are a thick brown patina with scattered surface oxidation. The Enfield style lock plate is marked with ""Barnett/London/1889"". Rear of the hammer is ""FOX/EB"". Stock shows expected nicks and dings from usage, old cracking in noted at the forend. Action functions correctly, holding at half and full cock.
