Description:
Freshly stocked in a full length piece of very pretty English with carved accents and checkered steel buttplate. Very crisp and clean bore on this 20" stepped barrel in 7x57. Rare commercial version of the KAR98A action has been nicely ground, polished and blued, mil bottom metal has been fitted with an excellent working double set trigger and custom trigger bow. Redfield one piece base and a new set of period Redfield rings. No iron sights but there are 4 plugged tapped holes in the barrel (marked FCSAP/RM/39).
