Description:
Rare as the proverbial hen's teeth and still shooting after all these years: a "patent detachable barrel" Cadet in 310 with a safety and side cocking indicator!  The barrel is a twist-in with 3 bayonet lugs and uniquely WR. Appears to have come out of Africa as the name inscribed inside the repaired forend is Dutch, with a 1904 date (birth?). Good steel buttplate. Finishes original and worn. Barrel is exceedingly tight on the action (just refitted). Rear elevator sight is good, front is a little bashed. Original sling loops. Some old repairs to head of stock. Bore has blotchy pitting nr chamber, is very good toward muzzle end with sharp pronounced rifling. Will make additional barrel(s) por. Ammo hard to get but easy to reload (apparently you don't even need dies, although some use a Lee 32-20 taper crimp die to crimp the heeled bullet in place for better accuracy) ... this is also an easy conversion to 32-20 or even 32 Special but it is worth more in original condition (chamber is unaltered), hence my offer to add a barrel while keeping the original intact.  Weighs 5.5lb w 28" bbl.  With literature describing the model and its rarity. Take it back to Africa for the Tiny 10, or just shoot jackrabbits, turkeys, coyotes, badgers, possums and skunks Stateside using shortened 32-20 brass. Comes with 10 ea unfired brass,  100 as cast RCBS bullets and a set of CH4D dies. UPDATE 6/20: adding a second barrel in 7-30 Waters  .. fitted with barrel-mounted scope. Add deer, hogs and antelope to the scope of this neat rifle. Might even find a case that I can fit to the rifle. Of course this bumps the price by $500 plus scope POR.

Price: $1,950.00
