This item includes the "as new", unfired Braverman Arms stainless-steel pen gun, the original Braverman Arms serial number tag, the Braverman Arms belt sheath and the operating instructions.
The Braverman Arms Stinger was patented in 1990, began production with the help of Derringer in 1993, and was produced from approximately 1993 to 1997. It was marketed as an emergency defense, single shot, close range firearm.
Because it cannot be fired in the pen configuration, it is designated as a single shot pistol, vs. all other pen guns that have the "Any Other Weapon" classification by the BATF. To fire this gun, you need to configure it into an approximately “L” shape resembling a pistol. To engage the firing pin, the pen must be extended and then locked in its angled “L” shaped position where the trigger pops out to fire.
The base is marked “R J BRAVERMAN CORP MEREDITH N H”. The pocket clip is marked “USA”. The safety ring is marked “S F”, for safe and fire. The receiver is marked with the serial number and the barrel is marked with the caliber. The ballistic nylon belt sheath is marked, “STINGER R.J. Braverman Corp.”
