It’s in excellent shape for its age, with very little to worry about. The metalwork is all original and still sports 95% +  of its bluing. The nicely-figured dark walnut stock is in great condition and has not been cut down; the buttplate fits snuggly and has a chip in it. The barrel measures 24 inches in length and includes its original front sight and rear adjustable leaf sight. The bore is bright and shiny with strong micro-groove rifling — it would twist lead accurately. This rifle includes one 10-round Marlin-branded magazine and has the Marlin Bullseye intact.  The 89C is a hard-to-find model.
