This is a handsome long range Deer/Varmint Rifle chambered in 250 Savage (250-3000) Custom Rebarreled with a Montana McGowan barrel. A search of the blogs reveals a mixed bag about the barrel company but one referes to MOA at 750 yards and another 5/8" at 1000 !!!!!! Style wise this most resembles higher grades of Anschutz rifles with the Euro Skip Line Hand Checkered pistol grip and forend, rosewood pistol grip cap with white inlay.and roll over cheek piece similar to the 1700 deluxe grade of Anschutze. The actions are known for unparalled smoothness comparable to early Stey Mannlichers. These were made at differnt times by Husky and later by Krico. The markings had been on the original barrel which we do not have but it is believed that this is the later Krico production. A little lack of care was taken by someone removing the barreled action at one time with a little roughness back of the action; easily touched up.
